Panasonic introduced its latest Lumix digital camera today called the TZ50. This camera features Wi-Fi connectivity to allow the direct uploading of images from the camera to Picasa Albums on Google. The camera has a 9.1 megapixel sensor and can shoot HD video as well.
In addition to being able to connect to wireless networks at home or work the camera also features free access to T-Mobile HotSpot service. The TZ50 features a 10x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch LCD on the rear.
Other features include Intelligent Exposure, digital red-eye correction, MEGA OIS, intelligent ISO, intelligent scene selector, face detection and continuous AF. The camera will be available in May 2008 for $449.95.

Panasonic (Panny for some), launched in Japan today a new compact camera, the DMC-TZ5. A 10.7Mpix camera with a 10x Zoom (28-280mm/F3.3~4.9), wide angle, ISO6400, 50MB of internal memory, and records video in HD 720p30. Total size is 103.3×59.3×36.5mm at just 241g.

Panasonic presented its new Lumix digital camera ‘DMC-LS80’ during PMA 2008, which combines easy-to-use advanced functions and AA-battery operation convenience.
Equipped with Lumix DC VARIO lens system with 3x optical zoom lens(equivalent to 33-100mm on a 35mm film camera) and a 2.5-inch 230,000 pixel LCD monitor, the DMC-LS80 supports Quick AF system allowing the camera to start focusing on the subject even without pressing a shutter button halfway, as the camera is continually detecting and focusing.
The CCD has been upgraded to 8.1-megapixel high resolution, so even after cropping, you will still have a high resolution picture. Both the external and internal design has been revised throughout to enhance the ease of operation.
Measuring 95.7 x 31.2 x 62mm at 177g, the DMC-LS80 is available in silver and pink colors.

Panasonic presented its digital SLR camera ‘LUMIX L10’ in Korea market, which offers 10.1M Live MOS sensor and 2.5-inch LCD rotating 270-degree.
Combining Face Detection with Panasonic’s Intelligent ISO Control settings, which measures the movement of the subject and sets the ISO level accordingly, helps give consumers crisp, blur-free images.
Suggested price is 1,498,000(KRW).

Panasonic today introduced the newest addition to its FX-series of compact digital cameras, the LUMIX DMC-FX33. The new Lumix DMC-FX07 7.2-megapixel digital camera features a wide-angle f2.8 Leica DC lens with 3.6x optical zoom (equivalent to 28mm to 102mm on a 35mm film camera), an Intelligent Image Stabilizer by Mega O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), and Intelligent ISO control. The DMC-FX07 also pursues further compactness with a 2.5-inch LCD.


The new Lumix DMC-FS2 from Panasonic will steal the lady’s heart. It features a 7.2 megapixel CCD, 3x Leica DC Vario-Elmarit zoom lens, ISO 3200 “high sensitivity” mode, and 2.5-inch LCD. On a full charge it can take around 350 pictures and record 848 x 480 video at 30fps direct to SDHC/SD cards.
Like past Lumix cameras, the new Panasonic FS2 is capable of shooting in three ratios: the standard 4:3, 3:2, and wide 16:9. The camera has 20 scene presets, including a Baby mode that marks a child’s age using the built-in calendar function. The FS2 also has a Travel Date function and dedicated Print mode option.
