Voigtlaender announces the 7 Megapixel Vitoret 73

Voigtlaender announces the Vitoret 73 digital camera. The entry level Vitoret 73 features a 7 Megapixel CCD images sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens and a spacious 3-inch LTPS TFT LCD monitor. The new camera has 32 Megabyte internal memory - of which approximately 22 MB is available for image store, supports SD storage cards up to 2 Gigabyte and is powered by two AA size batteries. A simple movie mode (320×240) is available too. The Voigtlaender Vitoret 73 is available in Europe right now for a list price of 149 Euro…

Nikon to intro D60 as D40x replacement?

imageNikon may be phasing out at least one of its starter digital SLR cameras in the near future, hints from the company and from tipsters reveal. The company has recently pulled a D40x listing from its Japanese online store, indicating that local production of the 10-megapixel camera has stopped; versions in other markets as well as the original D40 will continue to sell, the company says. However, the firm has not offered a replacement model, leaving a gap between the D40 and the mid-range D80.

Polaroid unveils 7-inch XSJ-00750M digital photo frame

Aside from sifting through your JPEG collection, it also plays back MP3 files, and just in case you’ve got a thing for varying colors, you’ll be delighted to know that this one comes with black, white and wood colored frames. Grab one next month (if you’re in Japan, that is) for ¥17,000 ($149).

Digital Foci to launch new line of digital photo frames

image Digital Foci, Inc. will introduce 3 new digital frames to its line of popular "Image Moments" digital photo frames at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held January 7-10, 2008 in Las Vegas.
